This 4-week hybrid course provides a comprehensive exploration of mindfulness-based therapies (MBTs) and their application in clinical practice. Participants will gain knowledge of the theoretical foundations, neurobiological underpinnings, and evidence-based strategies for integrating mindfulness into treatment for stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
The course emphasizes practical skills for teaching mindfulness techniques, fostering self-awareness, and supporting clients in developing adaptive coping strategies. Participants will learn to conduct mindfulness-informed assessments, implement structured interventions, and integrate mindfulness practices into individualized treatment plans.
The hybrid format combines live interactive sessions, recorded lectures, applied exercises, case consultations, and reflective assignments. Special emphasis is placed on tailoring interventions to client needs, monitoring treatment outcomes, and maintaining ethical and culturally responsive mindfulness practices.
